Cheers To Life
Source |
We walked a hundred miles,
I and my life,
Togetherness unravelled,
Along with the journey.
We walked through several thorny paths,
My bare feet bled, relentlessly.
Several storms came,
And went off devastating us, my life.
And, left us with sordidness.
We walked through the dirty trails,
We walked through the unsoiled too,
We got filth on us,
We got scoured too.
We often lost our ways,
And seldom returned on track.
We got sometimes blamed,
Sometimes, blessed we were.
Countless joys there were,
Numerous miseries too.
Yet, I say it, my life
Cheers to you!
Wow ... an uplifting poem encouraging us to keep walking forward in life ... loved it :D

DeleteIn classroom when you anser so beautifully,
ReplyDeleteIn the park when you do walk so smartly,
Then I do smile,And of course my heart smiles.
When your lovely voice reach to my ears,

ReplyDeleteNicely penned!
ReplyDelete...ye know when misery laughs to the fullest... we should join & laugh as well instead of feeling down & destroyed... miseries are part of our lives... but then we must be reminded that being part of life doesn't mean you will just accept whatever it may bring to you... we are always in control of our actions & thinkings... we have the choice to be happy... just a matter of right acceptance & wise thinking... it is how we deal it that defines us for tomorrow... smiles..
