She Rejoices
Source |
She rejoices in the midst of nature,
Her joyful eyes contemplate,
Her timid smile, like sunshine,
Her smile, like rainbow after a thunderstorm.
She counts her miseries
And calculates the joys,
Distinct but yet significant;
Her life after a storm,
Like heaven it seems to be.
She rejoices amidst the serenity,
Embracing life.
This poem is shared with Theme Thursday.
This week's prompt is Rejoice
We all have something to rejoice each and every day, I reckon.

Hi Sayantini,
I love this poem for showing that we should calculate our joys and then rejoice with how many of them we truly have. Life can be hard but this shows that we should focus on the good things in life and be happy. I think that your setting for her to do her rejoicing is beautiful because it seems like a very wonderful place to contemplate about the things in our life and it is hard not to be able to focus on the beauty and great things while you are becoming one with nature. Love the picture too.
Thanks for sharing such a peaceful and joyous poem with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. Sorry I could not get here sooner, still sick and was feeding some fish somewhere today. Brought up my dinner so I know some fish got fed and were rejoicing somewhere. Hope your week is filled with lots of joyous occasions.
God bless.
Thanks Mrsupole! Thanks for the numerous compliments. Your words are very encouraging.
DeleteGlorious write Sayantini. I loved the image of the woman/girl, who takes her time in rejoicing after living a life in storm. She inspires others to walk behind her. She is an epitome of beauty and an example of how life should be lived. Great going. Keep it coming. And btw I already saw your blog before you commented on mine, anyways I love your writing. Surely will come back and read other works. Busy now with exams. Tc. Keep writing. God bless. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Anand!
