Life Up
This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 33; the thirty-third edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is 'Celebrations'
To be lost, to lose what you have got.
Unbearable angst and pain.
Despite trouble and countless snags,
We be able to fight back,
We be able to refute,
To seize the light in clasp.
But we conquer the hassles in a flash,
We brawl, we grapple,
We try to reciprocate.
Hopes assemble, light up cores.
We pour life in the chasm,
We cheer up, we please,
We try to cherish time,
Embracing joys;
Celebration of life.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the warm welcome!
DeleteUndoubtedly a great poem. Would you mind explaining your thinking behind the phrase 'seize the light in a clasp' - I like it and have my perspective on it, would just like to know yours.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to mean that at a certain stage, after a long time of confinement people regain the power of looking back and show their dispossessed strength of utter antagonism against the society or else. That vigor is expressed through the image of seizing light (which is untouchable) in a clasp.
DeleteThank you for such a nice comment and for showing your interest. Keep reading.
