O poised hummingbird
your fragile wings take flight, emerge
broken dreams from sleep.
O poised hummingbird
your meager frame sways in fright
but your hopes still safe.
This haiku is shared with Haiku Heights and the prompt was Hummingbird.
Yes, these little creatures do have meager frames, don't they? And yet they are able to do so much!

Their wings look fragile, though are strong enough than our so called strong hands! We can't beat time, but they do! Ha ha.
