Motion of her eyes
Revolts against the subtle breeze,
Beside the billowy river,
Hunts for her image in the water,
Relentless.
Her peaceful blinks each time,
Drop a lustrous pearl into the water.
Her vision of purity rinses out,
With surging emotions.

I am posting a poem after a long long gap. Sorry for the discontinuity. This poem is shared with 3WW  and the three words for this Wednesday are Motion, Peaceful and Vision.

  1. Maybe she is looking for her image in the wrong place? Or not happy with the reflection she sees?

The thought is quite beautifully carried throiugh in the poem. I liked it :)

    1. She's looking for her perfect image but ends up disappointed because of two things, first of all the undulation of the river and secondly because she thinks she's not pure or her reflection is not like what she really is......
Thank you so much for commenting, Leo :)
