Endless Seasons

Source

A garish, dreadful breath of nature,
The ghastly warmth of sigh,
Breaking the weir of patience,
Summer is on the high.

A green, sodden stroke of luck,
Freshened air and souls,
Here comes the monsoon,
With rock n’ rolls.

Blithe, sun-drenched sky,
Smells of imminent joy,
Clear trail of celebrations,
Autumn is here with new ploy.

Then comes the chilly troll,
With all his pangs summoned up,
Cold, sore anguished life,
Winter has taken up.

Blooming, blissful springtime comes,
Brash, loud and, intrepid,
Vivid and innocent sort of zest,
Validates the ecstatic need.

This is how the sequence goes,
Beginnings and ends time and again
With incessant joys, ceaseless beams,
But I believe in endless seasons of dreams.

  3. The endless season of dreams sounds beautiful to me really. "Monsoon, with rocks and rolls" - not so much. I like the rhyming in this poem, and the words just rolled on my tongue.
