An Evening by a Busy Sea-shore

A broken mast of a wreck;
A mist of dust, scattered thoughts,
A crowd of lightened boats,
An uncanny falls out for the nature's sake.

Half-born dreams float,
Over the sea, above the wind,
Crowded sea must not see,
The sadness that the gladness coats.

Remnants of a lazy day remain,
Trails of chewed tobacco,
Bits of smoke in the pungent air,
A rustic evening goes in vain.

Silence dies in the choir of dins,
Clouded laugh and rumpus,
Time gets paused, they enjoy,
Seems they are kith and keen.

Movements make marks,
On the sand, to and fro;
Dusty, filthy footsteps trample,
Like impulsive, clumsy larks.

Evening emerges by the silent sea,
Sun gets reddened behind the clouds,
Twilight ensues, followed by the night,
Illuminated, it must be.

Mystic feelings, mixed with cries,
A joyful day ends, with raps
Of goodnight wishes, and,
Hopeless, dubious sighs.

  1. You have captured the feeling of a seashore at sundown, a lazy day coming to an end. You have set a beautiful scene here, along with the reddening setting sun.
