The Real Me

Hi, I am Sayantini Bhattacharya and I am a graduate in English Literature.  I am a Leo and my personality is very extravagant. I have lots of hobbies, I like meeting new people, I love attention and I hate working like a freak.

Birth:   I was born on the 16th date of August, 1990 in Asansol, West Bengal.

Parents:   I have two most wonderful parents of this universe, Aloke Bhattacharya and Sathi Bhattacharya. As the elder daughter, I am very very close to them.

My mom is very much like a friend, I tell her almost everything, sometimes hide things, and tell them later. We love pulling each others legs, joking and laughing out loud.

I am more close to mom than dad but when in hard times, dad understands me much more than my mom. He is the greatest dad one could ever get. My ability of writing poetry came from him. He indulges me a lot. He even writes poetry but in Bengali only. I get the inspiration to write my first poem from him.
I belong to a middle class family. My father is a school teacher. But he fulfilled all our desires going out of his way. We have gone through a lot of hardships, but my parents stood by us like a wall. They brought us up like princesses. I am very grateful to them. And, love them a lot.

Siblings:  I have only one sister, who's younger to me, Sohini. I am just nothing without her. She is the whole world to me. I love her, pamper her, fight with her. We are like best friends. When in good time, we hug each other, stick to each other, watch TV sitting on one couch but, when we fight we do it till the end. We scratch each other, pull each others hair. It becomes nasty when it comes to fighting. But at the end of the day, we are sisters. When someone says a word against her, I enlist one more enemy.

Pets: I have one Spitz, Jimmy. He's in the family for 13 long years. I love him like my own child.

School: I have done my schooling from Basanta Kumari Balika Vidyapith, which is a very renowned school in my hometown.

College: I have completed my graduation from Netaji Subhas Open University. Yes, I have done a correspondence.

Study: I chose to study English, because it has been my most favourite subject all time. And, English literature is the one thing that I wanted to know about. Writing is my hoby since I was 8 years old. It made me think that literature is so my thing.

Friends: I have a lot of friends. Anyone I meet, he/she becomes my friend immediately. I love making friends. I think less when I choose my friends or befriends with someone. Eventually I get lots of pain. I have one bestie, Piyali. She's like made for me. She is my soulmate. She is just like me, we have a lot of similarities in thoughts. Sometimes I really get amazed.

I have three more friends in my life, whom I love so much, Rimi, Simi and Tina. They are my chilhood friends. We like bloomed together.

My boyfriend is also my friend. Actually our relationship started from friendship. We used to be in the same class. Two of his friends, Shashwata and Prasun are also my friends. We hang out together a lot. We go shopping together.

Love: The person I love is very special in my life. He was my best friend, and then we realized that we love each other, and we need to stay with each other, life-long. We are in a relationship for six long years.

Hobbies: You all know about my love for poetry, but , except this I love cooking so much.
